Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and well-connectedChief Sales Officerwith a deep understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record of building and managing strong channel partnerships. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our business by leveraging their industry knowledge and connections to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Development: Identify, establish, and nurture strong partnerships with key players in the construction industry, including contractors, builders, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Business Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the construction industry.

Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth by leveraging existing industry relationships and developing new ones. Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales and business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly track and report on sales performance, market trends, and partnership activities. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, Certification in Project management.
  • Hands on experience of managing construction projects
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing channel partnerships in the construction industry.
  • Extensive network of contacts and connections within the construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute effective business development plans.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Good experience of working with IPCs and PMCs.
