Overview

As a Design Lead you will play a pivotal role in guiding the creative direction and overseeing the design process for Corporate fitouts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and impactful designs that meet client requirements and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Creative Direction: Provide vision and direction for design projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, brand guidelines, and project goals.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of designers and collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to execute projects from concept to completion.
• Design Oversight:Review and provide feedback on design concepts, sketches, and prototypes to ensure quality, coherence, and adherence to project specifications.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget constraints.
• Client Collaboration:Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback, and translate requirements into actionable design strategies.
• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to infuse creativity and innovation into our projects.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure they meet design standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Communication: Foster open communication channels within the team and with clients to facilitate collaboration, address concerns, and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Mentorship and Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and skill development opportunities to team members to foster their growth and enhance their design capabilities.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Proven experience ( 5 years) in a design leadership role within a design and build studio or similar environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects (Office/Corporate fitouts) including conceptualization, design development, and implementation.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
• In-depth knowledge of design principles, construction techniques, and materials.
• Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
• Creative thinking, problem-solving ability, and a passion for innovation in design.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and client preferences.
