This role is perfect for someone who is hungry, charismatic, and scrappy. Ideally, someone who is looking to become a startup founder or executive. This role will hone your skills scaling startups into multi-million and billion dollar enterprises.

Affiniti’s business model is partnering with the most trusted associations in each industry to launch customized business expense management platforms for their audience. Affiniti is looking to replicate what MBNA did in 2005 (launched consumer credit cards with 4,000 association partners & sold to Bank of America for $34B) . . . except with business cards (higher revenues & lower fraud) and fintech expense management (like Brex and Ramp). After BofA acquired MBNA, they lacked the expertise to manage all the custom programs, and killed the partnerships – leaving a huge gap in the market.

Affiniti has already signed 17 association partners, which includes the largest trade association in the United States. In total, they already have an audience of 2M highly-engaged businesses within the government contracting, medical, and real estate industries ready for a tailored business expense management platform that truly serves their profession.

With strong backing from industry leaders such as Indicator Ventures, Montage Ventures, Eniac Ventures, Odell Beckham Jr., the owner of the Sacramento Kings, and other notable investors, Affiniti’s vision is clear: to become the #1 industry-based financial operating system for each of the backbone industries of America.

Affiniti’s business is designed from the ground up to solve a core dilemma: why is a construction company using the same business expense management platform as a private physician practice if their spending habits, business models, and payback periods are entirely different?

Responsibilities:

  • Grow revenue by bringing new applicants to our platform
  • Develop and execute new out-of-the-box experiments to deliver, target, and run marketing campaigns that drive direct revenue impact
  • Conceptualize and test new experimental campaigns that can help drive revenue at higher efficiency as we scale
  • Analyze and optimize on lower-funnel metrics to ensure campaign ROI improves as it scales
  • Run email blasts and direct mail campaigns
  • Call prospective customers and pitch them our best-in-market platform
  • Attend conferences (e.g 1 every month or two) across America, manage our booth, and represent our company in front of America’s largest trade associations
  • Be accountable to monthly growth targets and hack your way to reaching them
  • Partner closely with the founders, senior leadership, and our engineering team to define strategy and build systems continue our strong track record of MoM growth
  • Manage third-party contractors providing lead enrichment services
  • Take the lead on developing new marketing designs and materials
  • Create, manage, and warm up multiple email inboxes to ensure strong email deliverability
  • Help manage our team’s Hubspot account to ensure our data is up to date

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of professional experience in Growth, Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, or similar.
  • A hacker’s type mentality full of curiosity and creativity (obsessed with solving problems and never gives up)
  • Strong project management and organization skills with attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally to prioritize multiple initiatives with various stakeholders
  • Ambitious and driven to be a top performer within the company
  • Roll up your sleeves type mentality
  • Experience with Hubspot, Salesforce, or similar CRM

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in FinTech — specifically credit cards.
  • Experience with SQL and Excel
  • Proven experience working in an elite startup environment.
