Create technology strategy for your scope, set the roadmap, and drive fast iterative launches with incremental customer value.
Own the development and implementation of software solutions across the full stack of the applications - UI and backend Services, on the Cloud, and on the edge devices.
Experience building and externalizing APIs for high volume, bi-directional transactions.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including customer, partner, product, design, and operations to deliver impactful solutions that meet business objectives.
Set clear goals and priorities to accelerate the product development and drive business growth with clear customer value.
Champion best practices in software engineering, including code quality, and scalability, while continuously improving development mechanisms.
A Bit About You
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
15+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on building scalable loosely coupled Services with low latency data stores.
Proven track record of at least 10 years in leadership roles, managing and scaling engineering teams.
Extensive experience with modern programming languages preferably React, React Native, Ruby, Go, Python, or similar technologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment in a high-growth technology or technology enabled company.
Experience productionizing AI/ML models and building proof of concepts leveraging developing technologies.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and lead change in a dynamic environment.
Passion for healthcare technology and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building and scaling performant and high volume mobile applications.
Experience building and scaling inventory, supply chain, procurement applications.
Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with API management systems such as Apigee and GraphQL.
Experience in building and scaling healthcare or telemedicine platforms.
Advanced certifications or training in pharmacy or healthcare analytics.
Highly preferred: Experience with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Procurement systems.
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.

Sedentary work: Sitting most of the time, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $176,000 - $220,000
Commission Eligible: No
Equity Eligible: Yes
Travel: Yes -- Required up to 15% of the time
Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, New York, Kansas, Texas, Maryland, Washington (WA), Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin.
