Job Description
The Facilities Manager will be responsible for coordinating and serving as the direct responsible individual for Facility projects across Alto’s national portfolio of properties with core oversight of 9 of the 18 locations across Texas, Nevada, Colorado and New York. This individual will oversee the East and Central locations and be the on site support at Alto’s Plano HQ Office, with support provided to our West locations when needed. As part of the property services provided, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our sites, equipment procurement and installation, utilities management, coordinating physical security, managing our access control/alarm systems platforms, overseeing retrofits & renovations, coordinating preventive maintenance, vendor sourcing/management, among other tasks. The Facilities Manager will be expected to create purchase orders, and manage expenses, invoices and payment processing, along with maintaining an updated record of our service contracts. As a supporting branch to the organization, Facilities Managers provide night and weekend support during emergency events. The Facilities Manager will assist the Senior Facilities Manager in submitting insurance claims and maintaining proper records of all the documentation submitted and disbursements issued. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining our Plano, TX headquarters, providing onsite support for the staff, maintaining a cleaned and organized office space, assisting Executive Business Partners during offsites and ensuring all office consumables are replenished in a timely manner.Provide facilities support at a national level and during emergencies
Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
Coordinate building maintenance services and security
Negotiate bids and contracts for third party services
Monitor and support service tickets
Create and maintain records of vendors across all of our locations, including service contracts.
Oversee and maintain Central and Eastern Time Facilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree required; Bachelors degree preferred
5+ Years in Property, Facilities or Project Management
Great problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members.
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles
Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite
Self-starter with ability to work independently under a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors and or Masters Degree
Ability to quickly learn new project management softwares
Construction experience
Contract management experience

Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $68,000 - $85,000
Commission Eligible: No
Equity Eligible: Yes
Travel: Yes - Up to 25% of the time
Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, New York, Kansas, Texas, Maryland, Washington (WA), Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin.
