Job Summary

Alto’s Supply Chain is a high complexity environment aimed to help patients access the key medications they need at the right place and at the right time. The Procurement Formulary Manager will play a key role in helping Alto maximize its access to key medications while acting as a cross functional partner to aid in key decision making and product development.
As an internal expert, you will engage in understanding market dynamics and trends that present opportunities or risk for Alto’s supply chain while working to integrate scalable solutions within Alto’s processes value stream. You will help track cost and profitability for Alto’s largest cost center in inventory procurement while innovating on strategic ways to maximize contractual levers. You will own empowering key internal stakeholders across Alto’s Fertility, Enterprise and Product teams.

  • Analyze current supplier contracts and spend

  • Surface market opportunities to increase access and/or lower prices for Alto and patients

  • Monitor and track vendor and supplier performance

  • Work with finance on forward looking forecasting and margin outlook

  • Aid cross functional organizations in tracking procurement and pricing opportunities across supply bases

  • Facilitate internal instrumentation, tools and mechanisms development with Product teams to ensure Alto can operate at scale.

  • Drive end to end cost savings and develop KPIs for tracking and validating savings.

  • Think 10x and re-shape the future of Pharmacy with Alto

A Bit About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Supply Chain or related field

  • 7+ Years in Procurement or Supply Chain

  • Experience with data analysis via Excel, Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet software

  • Procurement and vendor contracting experience

  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles

  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite

  • Great problem-solving skills

  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors and team members.

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently under a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree, MBA or equivalent

  • Pharmacy Procurement / Contract Experience

  • SQL (Snowflake)

  • Looker

    • Adjusting or moving objects up to 35 pounds in all directions.

    • Operating motor vehicles.

    • Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $121,600 - $152,000

Commission Eligible: No

Equity Eligible: Yes

Travel: Yes - Up to 25% of the time

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, New York, Kansas, Texas, Maryland, Washington (WA), Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wisconsin.
