As Junior 3D printing research engineer you will play an important role in improving printing experience and final part outcome of our industrial printing platform. Manufacturing with high performance polymers is never easy, which is why we are taking a systematic experimental approach to understanding and improving printing outcomes.

Qualifications

* Impressive 3D printing experience

* Research experience or research mindset

* Research experience with the influence of polymer materials on printing results is a plus

* Research experience with 3D printing process optimization is a plus

* Deep curiosity on how things work

* Ability to self-organize

* (nice to have) python (or similar) scripting experience

* Working with our R&D experts to generate ideas for improving the state of the art in toolpath generation

* (optional) Code up a toolpath generator with the team’s support

* Define and execute an experimental methodology to validate toolpath improvements

* Practically validate the limits of each toolpath imposed by part geometry, used material and print process configurations

* Document experimentation results
