Systems Administrator
We are looking for a versatile and skilled System Administrator to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and is comfortable navigating through a diverse technical environment.
Role:
- Manage and maintain diverse computing environments, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user support
- Collaborate with different departments to understand and meet their technical requirements and support needs
- Test and evaluate new technology to determine its potential benefits for the company
- Provide technical support and training to users, promoting best practices and efficient use of IT resources
- Assist in developing and maintaining IT policies and procedures to ensure that practices meet compliance regulations and security standards
- Implement and oversee network basic administration tasks, including changes to DHCP, DNS, and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator in a multi-platform environment, with solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-oriented attitude
- A strong foundation in basic network administration, including LAN/WAN, network services (DHCP, DNS), and VPN management
Bonus:
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ability to script and automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
