Job Description:
As the Assistant Manager of Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire process of controllership including but not limited to payable, taxation, and bookkeeping for all overall activities in the Company. You will ensure accuracy and consistency in the records and ensure that compliance and control are properly in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify vendor invoices and employee reimbursements, and monitor payable processing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Review monthly and yearly tax payments and filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
Monitor and validate financial transactions and supporting documents required for the annual financial audit.
Lead monthly and yearly financial closing processes, including journal entries, revenue and cost recording, account reconciliations, and analysis.
Prepare financial reports and data for management, stakeholders, partners, and regulatory authorities.
Liaise with external auditors in Indonesia and Singapore to ensure a smooth audit process and clean audit opinions.
Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure accurate and timely inventory data for financial records.
Review agreements to mitigate tax and financial exposure.
Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing financial, accounting, and tax-related matters across the company.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax operations (minimum of 3 years in auditing required).
Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Demonstrated logical and accurate data analysis and communication skills.
Fluency in English (verbal and written).
