Retail Sales Role (QRIS Soundbox - BukuPay)

This Role will be hired for Local areas including Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Denpasar.

Overview:
This role focuses on driving merchant acquisition and fostering strong relationships within local markets for QRIS Soundbox - BukuPay. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payments, fintech, FMCG, telecom, or banking, with a proven track record in area-based canvassing and a strong local merchant network. The position requires frequent travel, hands-on sales activities, and the ability to provide valuable field insights to support business growth.

1. Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in payments, fintech, FMCG, telecommunications, or banking, with a strong focus on merchant acquisition.

• Solid background in QRIS, EDC, or Point of Sale systems is highly preferred.

• Proven track record of acquiring merchants within local markets.

• Willingness to travel frequently for fieldwork and on-site visits.

• Strong network and database of local merchants.

• Exceptional relationship-building skills, combined with a dedicated and hardworking attitude.

2. Key Responsibilities:

• Micro to Medium Merchant Acquisition: Conduct daily visits to a minimum of 15 merchants, manage the completion of necessary documentation, and ensure seamless transaction processes.

• Merchant Education: Gain a thorough understanding of QRIS soundbox payment systems and effectively communicate their functionality to merchants.

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to support sustained transaction volumes.

• Data Collection & Insights: Accurately record data and provide valuable field insights to inform company strategies.

Additional Notes:

• This role requires an area-based canvassing approach rather than a traditional appointment-setting sales strategy.

• The position will be contracted through a vendor.

Target Candidate Backgrounds (Examples):

• Professionals from GoPay (excluding MOKA and other Gojek Business Units).

• Sales experience with GoFood and GrabFood.

• Banking professionals from BNI, BRI, or retail teams with QRIS deployment experience.

• FMCG representatives from companies like Sampoerna, Unilever, etc.
