We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer with a strong background in architecture to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming development and delivery of our projects, collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to ensure that our software solutions are architected, designed, and implemented to meet business and technical requirements.

Our requirements for this position are:

8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development and tech leadership, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency in Java - Spring/SpringBoot.
Strong experience in software architecture and design, including knowledge of architectural styles, patterns, and principles.
Familiarity with modern software development practices, including continuous integration and delivery, test-driven development (TDD), and DevOps.
Experience in the design, implementation, and consumption of RESTful web services.
Broad experience with relational databases, data modeling, and object-oriented software design.
Proven experience with AWS.
Experience with microservices design, implementation, and consumption.
Experience using Kafka or other message streaming platforms.
Development using techniques such as TDD, BDD, and FDD.
Experience with event-driven architectures.
Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Soft Skills:

Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach junior developers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make informed decisions.
Skills for upholding best practices in engineering, security, and design.
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participation in agile development teams (SCRUM, Kanban).
Proficiency in English.

Additional Skills & Plus:

Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
Experience with Docker container creation and configuration.
Good knowledge of developing financial applications/platforms, such as PIX in Brazil.
