We are an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents.
We're the makers of Devin, the first AI software engineer, and Windsurf, the AI-native IDE. Together, they represent our vision for collaborative AI teammates that enable engineers to focus on more interesting problems and empower teams to strive for more ambitious goals.
Our team is small and talent-dense. Among our founding team, we have world-class competitive programmers, former founders, and leaders from companies at the cutting edge of AI including Scale AI, Palantir, Cursor, Waymo, Tesla, Lunchclub, Modal, Google DeepMind, and Nuro.
Building Devin and Windsurf is just the first step—our hardest challenges still lie ahead. If you’re excited to solve some of the world’s biggest problems and build AI that can reason on real-world tasks, apply to join us.
About the role
You’ll design and run events that bring people together—from team dinners and company celebrations to offsites and internal programs.
You’ll also own our swag and cultural initiatives, helping create the small moments that make Cognition feel like a place people love coming to every day.
Some days you might be coordinating a company offsite. Other days you’re launching a new internal program, planning a surprise celebration, or making sure a shipment of swag arrives before a team milestone.
If you love creating thoughtful experiences, have strong operational instincts, and enjoy making things happen behind the scenes, this role might be a great fit.

Why this role matters
Culture doesn’t happen by accident. It’s shaped through shared experiences, thoughtful details, and the people who care about creating them.
This role will help define how it feels to work at Cognition—from the biggest offsites to the smallest everyday moments.
