Role

Cohere is at a critical phase of growth – with an increasingly accelerating pace of deals over past few month, we are building out a talented engineering team to accelerate this trajectory.

As an early engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to drive mission-critical, cross-functional projects across the organization and deliver on our ambitious product roadmap. Since you will be an early member of the team, you will be uniquely positioned to shape the Cohere product across all areas.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience

• Frontend and backend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript

• Must have knowledge about Node.js HTTP frameworks, e.g. Koa or Express

• Must have knowledge about at least one frontend framework, e.g. React or Vue

• Experience with SQL (Postgres preferred) and preferably at least one ORM, e.g. MikroORM, TypeORM, Prisma, SQLAlchemy, Django

• Some experience with Python and HTTP framework preferred, e.g. FastAPI, Flask
