At Comet, we’re building tools for frictionless crowdfunding and community building. Underneath, we’re focused on solving web3’s challenging UX problems to enable better internet coordination. We’re building experiences for NBA athletes, consumer startups, brands, and social clubs.
Our teams is growing quickly and we’re looking to add energized team members who get stuff done.
About this role
As a software engineer, you’ll not only ship code but also have the chance to talk to customers, design new solutions, and run growth hacks. There are no requirements.
We’re focused on personal growth and playing like a team. Sprint, rest, reflect, repeat.
Given the early environment of web3, we learn as we go. If you love uncertainty, this is the perfect role.
Come talk to us to learn more.
Our stack: Postgres, Express, Next.js, Vercel, Redux, Node, and AWS
Blockchain: Solidity, Rust
Engineering Values:
Ownership: We own whatever we build, and we make design decisions at the ground level. We become experts on our projects, and we’re assertive about opinions we feel strongly.
Bias for action: Often the solutions to problems aren’t readily available. We are willing to learn, and look for solutions on our own if need be.
Trust and empathy: We’re a small team. We’re trying to build something way bigger than ourselves. We trust each other’s judgment, and quickly learn and move on from mistakes.
Benefits
Best-in-class healthcare including medical, dental, and vision
Competitive salary and equity packages
Monthly web3 investment stipends
Wellness perks for maximum recovery
