Curative Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team. We provide both in-person and virtual visits for our members with a special focus on giving care to people who have not had regular access to primary care.

This unique opportunity offers a flexible schedule: In-office patient care for 3 days/week (downtown Austin) and virtual visits via telemedicine from home 2 days/week. We are a patient-centered practice focused on providing comprehensive primary care services to adults aged 18 and over in a supportive and pleasant work environment.

In this role, you will be a key member of our clinical team, responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of adult health conditions. Your expertise in telemedicine will be crucial in delivering high-quality, convenient care to our patients. This role includes supervision and collaboration with our Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs) colleagues in primary care as needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients (ages 18+) in both an outpatient clinic setting and through a secure telemedicine platform.

  • Conduct thorough patient examinations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physicals, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.

  • Utilize your experience in telemedicine to conduct virtual patient visits, ensuring a high standard of care and patient satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patients.

  • Supervise and collaborate with APPs as needed.

  • Collaborate effectively with medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

  • Contribute to the development of our clinical services and programs.

  • Contribute to the development of a collegial and collaborative workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of Primary Care experience and direct patient care.

  • Must hold an active and unencumbered license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.

  • Proven experience in providing patient care via telemedicine platforms.

  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.

  • A collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a commitment to creating a positive work environment.

  • Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required
