As an Administrative/Project Manager for our accounting team, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the department. You will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, managing projects, and assisting with various accounting-related activities. This is an excellent entry-level position for someone looking to gain practical experience and develop essential project management skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Assist with general office tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management. o Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and maintain calendars for team members.
  • Prepare and distribute internal communications, memos, and reports.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including email and phone inquiries.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with the accounting team to develop project plans and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively address issues.
  • Track and report on project deliverables, milestones, and budgets.
  • Coordinate communication and ensure timely information flow between team members and stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to gather necessary information and support interdepartmental projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Act as a liaison between the accounting team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • A 4-year degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
