Platform Engineers help us connect our critical systems and automate business processes reliably. The person in this role will use their deep knowledge of software engineering and experience scaling systems to help us serve our members. Processes you’ll help us automate and improve include enrollment, claims adjudication and payment, and prior authorization processing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand business requirements related to system integrations

• Eliminate operational bottlenecks through smart technical solutions.

• Design and build solutions to scale data flow between multiple systems and databases

• Build high quality software with strong unit and integration test coverage.

• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes

• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior engineers

• Performs additional duties as assigned

Experience/Qualification

• 5+ years of Software Development experience, with proficiency in C# and Microsoft SQL Server

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• Experience building robust and reliable integrations

• Understanding of SQL DB design and query performance

• Track record of troubleshooting challenging issues with minimal guidance.

• Demonstrated experience working in AWS

• Experience working with API’s

Additional Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of and experience with healthcare claims systems (Health Edge experience preferred)

• Experience with EDI transactions
