RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core Skill Sets

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on technical environments.
  • Strong technical proficiency to engage directly in hands-on-keyboard work while balancing front-line management responsibilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to drive technical report creation, collaboration and able to engage technical and executive-level audiences.

  • Continuous learner with a strong desire to stay ahead of evolving technologies and threat landscapes.

Program Leadership

  • Lead and manage front-line analyst team, including hiring, on- and off-boarding and performance evaluations.
  • Partner with leadership on developing new service capabilities and operational enhancements that translate strategic vision into operational excellence .
  • Provide mentorship, identify training needs and guide the continuous professional growth of analysts.
  • Oversee operational coverage, shift scheduling, and escalation handling to ensure 24x7x365 service delivery.
  • Act as a technical escalation point—capable of stepping into complex analysis and operational challenges.
  • Drive internal projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.

Operations & Technical Delivery

  • Serve as both a hands-on operator and a technical mentor—bridging management and operational execution.
  • Develop deep technical expertise in all aspects of the Cyera platform and supporting ecosystem.
  • Develop and document standard operational procedures to optimize analyst tasks and actions.
  • Leverage AI, scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell), and automation to streamline workflows and increase Analyst productivity.
  • Monitor and conduct technical analysis of customer issues and alerts to help identify and drive remediation activities.

Customer Engagement

  • Lead or assist in conducting customer facing meetings with key executive and technical resources.
  • Assist with customer lead incident response efforts when needed.
  • Formulate and track key performance and risk indicators (KPIs and KRIs) and prepare technical and executive-level reporting that highlight key findings, observations and suggested remediation actions.

Collaboration with Customer Success Engineering (CSE)

  • Assist with the development of the customer delivery approaches and outcomes.
  • Assist with key onboarding and implementation activities, including platform integration, tuning and configuration activities.
  • Resolve customer problems and help secure contract renewals and expansions.
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and other customer touchpoints.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Direct operational experience in Security Operations Centers (SOC) and/or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) settings.
  • Minimum 10 years working technical SOC/MSSP roles.
  • Minimum 5 years in management roles across SOC/MSSP environments.
  • Hands-on experience working with key enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, ASM, and similar technologies.
  • Experience identifying, triaging and resolving cyber incidents.

Miscellaneous

  • Seek and complete an ongoing series of training and certifications to further develop and enhance your technical and soft skillsets.
  • As requested, provide feedback and suggested feature/function enhancements to product development teams.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) to identify and implement service improvements.



COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

Compensation Range: $130,000-$160,000.

The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.

This compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations.

Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors. In addition to a standard benefits and equity package, we offer a generous salary. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
