We are building a marketplace for DAOs, enabling people to own products and communities together. DAOHQ is a hub where anyone can find, fund, and found DAOs. We’re also working on tools for developers, investors, and organizers in the crypto space and creating an ecosystem of DAOs and their contributors.
We’re backed by Mark Cuban and Stealth Capital and forming a kind, ambitious, and gritty team.
🎒 About the role
As a Senior UI Designer, you'll act as a design authority for the project (in conjunction with the Design Lead); delivering beautiful and functional branded products and services. You'll be responsible for creating UI components using the clients' brand as inspiration and then creating a design library for the client to use going forward.
Your role is to delight consumers on our flagship website/mobile app and bring our customer experiences to life, right from their very first interactions with us
📚 Qualifications
3-5 years as a creative UI Designer with a range of experience visualizing apps, complex websites, or software
Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Figjam, prototyping tools).
Expert knowledge of responsive design
You're skilled in exploring visual concepts with a strong design aesthetic to bring a brand to life within a digital product
You're able to take ownership and work fairly autonomously yet also collaborative
Ability to build and prioritize highly detailed and precise design artifacts (flows, journey maps, service blueprints, wires, mocks, prototypes, specs, related documentation).
Familiarity with design systems and branding guidelines.
Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and influencing skills.
Added Experience with Fintech, Web3, crypto, accessibility
An online portfolio of professional work is required
💪 Responsibilities include:
Manage design libraries and design systems with adherence to product branding requirements
Oversee the development and delivery of effective user interfaces.
Assist with user research, interviews, surveys, and usability studies, translating findings into wireframes and prototypes.
Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are properly tested and implemented
Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, layout)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Support the QA team to make sure features are implemented as intended.
Ability to handle your own time and stay on top of things. It will be important to show your work and keep it organized and logical while eliminating confusion and getting to the bottom of issues quickly.
Build understanding using concise communications and presentations.
Build positive relationships with everyone and spend time working directly with them.
