Responsibilities:

  • Partner in a trusted advisor capacity to field sales and other internal partners.

  • Provide thought leadership to develop innovative deal structures, handle risk within the contractual terms and structure and educate the sales team on optimal deal configuration and bundles.

  • Develop best practices for pricing and commercial terms, based on the improved use of data and market knowledge to support decision making.

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to effectively coordinate and lead month and quarter end deal closure.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on non-standard deal requests, special pricing, operations, approval policies, commercial terms, and troubleshooting of deal issues and sales escalations across our executive leadership team.

  • Operate within established SLAs, ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound offers with field sales.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls

  • Independently scope and implement project work with minimum oversight to optimize existing processes and work with stakeholders to develop, test, and deploy new features, enhancements, and updates.

  • Partner with Sales leaders and Sales Operations team on GTM strategy and new commercial models to drive maximum revenue capture

Some key qualifications:

  • Have 4+ years of experience in a Deal Desk or GTM Operations function with a global sales team

  • Superior analytical background within strong problem solving skills

  • Prior use of a CPQ solutions

  • Thorough understanding of standard business practices related to GTM Operations processes and systems.

  • Positive team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations

  • Are a self-motivated, critical thinker with prior experience with complex, cross-functional pricing and proposal execution across GTM, Legal, and Finance.

  • Are collaborative participation with a proven history of working with field sales to drive optimal commercial outcomes within the Technology sector..

  • Possess deep understanding of (and empathy for) the role of a sales professional.

  • Growth mindset with inherent curiosity and personal drive, ability to navigate ambiguity and operate independently in a fast-based global environment.

  • Great sense of humor is a plus!
