At Destinus, we are on a mission to build near-space vehicles and infrastructure to power the world’s fastest transportation network. To make this happen, we are developing hydrogen-powered hypersonic vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to take part in shaping the future of aviation! You will be primarily responsible for developing mechanical/structural systems for subsonic/supersonic and hypersonic flights. You will be a part of our engineering team and interact with all engineering disciplines to resolve new issues as they arise. It is the unique project with unique opportunities for skill and experience.

Tasks

  • Independ analysis task performing
  • Structural, structural / thermal analysis and sizing of aerospace structures
  • FEM Modeling and Analysis, from GFEM to detail analysis
  • Definition of Sizing Loads and Manuevers
  • Preliminary sizing, detail analysis
  • Vibration and frequency response analysis
  • Structural optimization
  • Fatigue and damage tolerance analysis
  • Laboratory, ground and flight test support
  • Analysis tools development
  • Test program development
  • Preparation of technical reports and presentations
  • Continuous exchanges with suppliers
  • Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures
  • Raw test data processing and analysis validation
  • Certification and qualification process support


Requirements

  • BS., MS., in an Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline
  • FEM experience with Nastran, from build model to analysis, postprocessing, debugging
  • Experience is stress hand calculation/analytical methods
  • Experience with metalic light structures and/or composite structures
  • Knowledge of continuum and solid mechanics
  • Knowledge of applied mathematics and physics
  • Understanding of hypersonic flight physics
  • Understanding of structural dynamics
  • Experience with Fligth and Ground Loads, Structural requirements, Calculations and reporting in the frame of aerospace regulations/certification standards.
  • Experience of C++ / Python / Matlab programming
  • Experience of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis
  • Experience of laboratory, ground and flight test
  • Knowledge of GVT performing
  • Experience of CFD (Star CCM+)
  • Participation in certification process
  • Knowledge of the English language is required. Knowledge of Spanish, French or German language is an advantage
