Tasks

About The Position

In the position of Finance & Office Assistant you are part of the Finance & Administration team at Destinus. This team consists of the Chief Financial Officer, Team Leader Finance and Financial Accountants. In the position of Finance & Office Assistant, you are responsible for processing invoices for the various entities within the Destinus group. In addition, you ensure that the office management processes run smoothly.

Your main responsibilities in finance are:

  • Processing incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Processing bank changes.
  • Create reports for accounts payable. You are also the first point of contact for customers.
  • Internally you are the first point of contact for project management and purchasing.
  • Preparing and checking management reports (weekly and monthly).
  • Supporting monthly closing activities so that reports can be prepared for internal and external stakeholders.


Your main office responsibilities are:

  • Carrying out all reception-related activities: including welcoming customers, answering/redirecting incoming telephone calls, emails and correspondence;
  • Assisting with Destinus reservations for lunch and meeting rooms;
  • Coordinating travel/hotels/flights for internal employees and external customer visits.
  • Assisting with facility matters; related questions;
  • Assisting with (local) events for the team;
  • Assist with IT-related matters; first contact with external IT party;


Requirements

We are looking for a colleague with broad knowledge in the field of Finance and Office support. It is important that you feel comfortable communicating verbally in English. Our job requirements:

  • You have an MBO/HBO level based on education or experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics and an affinity with office management.
  • You have at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English. English is the working language in our company.
  • German is an advantage
  • Knowledge of MSDynamics is an advantage.
