About the Role
Destinus is seeking a recent graduate or early-career engineer to join our R&D and Engineering department as a Junior Electrical Engineer. Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:
- Design and develop electrical systems for gas turbine generator sets, including components such as generators, UCP, MCC, fuel supply systems, starting systems, filtration/ventilation, and lube oil systems.
- Participate in customer projects and execute electrical design and engineering tasks.
- Create and maintain project-specific documentation (e.g., specifications, wiring diagrams, reports).
- Process as-built and as-installed information for continuous improvement.
- Lead internal improvement projects, such as standardizing electrical drawings and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing technical expertise to customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on experience with E-Plan is a plus.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; basic Dutch is required.
- Competencies: hands-on approach, teamwork, accuracy, problem-solving, and initiative.
