As a freelance 3D designer at Destinus, you will translate concepts and technical specifications into high-quality 3D models. A combination of artistic creativity and technical skills is required for this role. Working independently and meeting project deadlines is critical to succeeding in this freelance position.

Tasks

• Work with internal teams to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
• Create detailed and accurate 3D models based on provided concepts, sketches, or technical drawings.
• Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Blender) to produce high-quality 3D designs.
• Ensure that 3D models meet technical standards and requirements, focusing on functionality and feasibility.
• Provide input on design improvements and enhancements, considering artistic and technical aspects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers, to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies related to 3D design and technical advancements.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Fluency in English is a requirement.
• Proven experience as a 3D designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical and creative skills.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Blender, etc.
• Technical knowledge of aerospace or related fields is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in engineering is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translating technical specifications into 3D models.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback.
