Progressive Physical Therapy is currently looking for a physical therapist (PT) to join our team. The PT obtains patient's medical history; administers treatment pursuant to the physical referral; completes all appropriate documentation in the patient's medical records; instructs patient and family members in necessary patient care, assists in the total rehabilitation of the patient; and assists in the training of support personnel and in the presentation of in-service programs.

Do You Have What It Takes?

A good candidate will bring with them:

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy

Current state license in South Carolina

Current CPR certificate

Effective personal and interpersonal communications skills. Able to document patient care in patient medical records, operate equipment and dispense patient care supplies.

Ability to use evidence-based practice guideline to treat orthopedic and neurological diagnoses/injuries.

Ability to develop treatment plans, provide quality patient care, and supervise assistants.

Ability to demonstrate competence in physical therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment.

Ability to improve and expand client relations with other medical facilities and staff.

An ideal candidate would also have:

2 years’ experience in an outpatient setting

Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited school of Physical Therapy

Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
