Description:

• The Department of Surgery, University of Pittsburgh Physicians at UPMC, is inviting applications for a faculty position in General Surgery.
• The faculty member will play an integral role in the clinical care of surgical patients and have a strong involvement in resident teaching.
• General surgeons with leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited general surgery residency training program with eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
• Board Certified with significant interest and ability in clinical care and teaching
• Candidates should possess strong clinical, interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills, and evidence of interest in and involvement in clinical research and/or quality improvement activity
