Description:
- UPMC Hamot located in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking a seeking a BC/BE Colorectal Surgeon.
- Colon & Rectal Surgeons of Erie are a part of UPMC Hamot Center for Digestive Health.
- Our physicians specialize in traditional surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the small bowel, colon, and rectum, as well as laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy.
- The practice includes two physicians, two physician assistants, along with a support staff.
The center offers the following procedures:
- Abdominal and pelvic surgery (open, laparoscopic, and robotic)
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
- Screening colonoscopy
- Anal and rectal surgery
- Colon resection surgery
- Pelvic floor
- Pilonidal cyst surgery
- Non-operative management for:
- Hemorrhoids
- Fecal incontinence
- Anal fissure
- Anal itching
- Diverticular disease
- Constipation
- Ulcerative colitis
- Irritable bowel syndrome
- Encopresis
