SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review exam orders, consult with radiologist, schedule patients and arrange for transportation as indicated
• Identify patient and document all information pertinent to final report in the RIS and PACS
• Prepare all patients for radiological procedures requested by the clinician. Arrange for proper protection of patients, public and staff from infectious diseases/materials
• Oversee the work of Radiographers levels and ancillary staff. Instruct technical staff and Radiologic Technology students in routine, special positions and procedures
• Ensure all examinations are accessioned, documented in RIS and all images sent to PACS

Minimum Qualifications:

1 year General Radiographer experience

Certifications & Licenses:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS
• Radiographer
• Radiologic Technologist
