DirectShifts is looking for an Operating Room RN Circulator that is interested in growing with with our Ambulatory Surgery Center team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing perioperative care to patients undergoing out patient surgery, as well as providing guidance and support to the surgical team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and equipment
• Perform preoperative assessment of patients and provide patient education
• Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing surgery
• Provide postoperative care to patients in the recovery room
• Assist in the management of outpatient surgical services
• Maintain accurate records of patient care
• Provide patient education on pre- and post-operative care
• Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
• Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
• Responding to sudden changes in patients’ health, direct and provide for patient care in emergency situations according to physician and administrative policy.
• Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts, completing chart for each patient
