Position Details:

Located: Glens Falls, NY

• A facility in search of a Med Surg Registered Nurse (MS RN).
• Applicants must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience and possess a New York State (NYS) license.
• Successful candidates should have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous travel exposure is a plus.
• This role involves weekend and holiday commitments on alternate schedules, without any on-call obligations.
• The workload encompasses 36 hours, with a confirmed 24-hour commitment.

Unit Details:

• Utilization of the EPIC charting system.
• Equipped with 130 beds for Medical Surgical care, along with 46 beds designated for Telemetry services and an extra 12 beds for overflow situations.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios are maintained at 1:6 during nighttime hours and 1:4 during the day.
• Efficient utilization of the Cerner charting system.
• Prerequisite qualification: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• While Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred, it's not obligatory.
• All candidates must possess a valid nursing license issued by the state of New York.
• Preferred candidates should have at least 2 years of recent experience and a background in travel nursing.
