Job Description:

Department: Med Surg/Tele EP Float (740)

Weeks: 13

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

• We are looking for a devoted and skilled Contract Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Med Surg/Tele and Electrophysiology (EP) Float departments.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and cardiac telemetry.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Respond effectively to emergent situations and changes in patient status.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, standards of care, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in TEXAS.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to various clinical settings.
