We are looking for a devoted and skilled Contract Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CVCST) to work as a backfill in our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) - Surgery department.

Responsibilities:

Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring aseptic techniques.
Prepare and maintain sterile fields with surgical instruments and equipment.
Collaborate with surgical teams to anticipate and fulfill their needs during procedures.
Pass surgical instruments and supplies to surgeons with precision.
Monitor and document surgical counts to maintain patient safety.
Assist in transporting patients to and from the operating room.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety measures.
Contribute to a smooth workflow in the Cardiovascular OR.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and surgical best practices.
Maintain a commitment to patient care and safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications:

Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CVCST) certification is required.
Previous experience in a cardiovascular surgical setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and instruments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure surgical environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and dedication to patient safety.
