Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 3 days per week

Employment Type: Contract

• Performs CT/X-ray imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the Radiology Department
• Under guidance and approval of site Radiologist, administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols
• Cooperates with facility healthcare personnel and complies with facility policies and procedures. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems
• Calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members
• Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality
• Complies with all safety policies and regulations. Performs additional duties as required

Required Experience

• Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology
• Registry in CT preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification required
• One (1) year CT experience required
• Must have NYS DOH IV certification

Certification/License/Registration

• DOH RT License,
• BLS required.
• IV cert. (title 89)
• ARRT License required

• High School Diploma
