Job Description:

  • Currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical department in Davie, FL.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and ensuring the well-being of our patients during their stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's condition.
  • Work closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to patient care.
  • Monitor and assess patient vital signs, administer medications, and coordinate treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care to promote optimal recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations, demonstrating quick thinking and efficient decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical setting is preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to make informed decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and healthcare protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
