As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department (ER) at our Tamarac, FL location, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care during the night shift.
The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the emergency department.

Responsibilities:

Provide compassionate and efficient care to patients presenting in the emergency room, including triage, assessment, and implementation of necessary interventions.
Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating sound clinical judgment and effective decision-making abilities.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, other nurses, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Accurately and promptly document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in electronic health records.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members to ensure a clear understanding of care plans and expectations.
Adhere to established protocols, procedures, and standards of care in the emergency department.
Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program and possession of a current RN license in the state of Florida.
Prior experience in an emergency room setting is preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a plus.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle emergency situations effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team.
