As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry department at our Med Surg Ortho/4th Fl unit in Tamarac, FL, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care.
The Telemetry RN is responsible for monitoring and interpreting the vital signs of patients with heart conditions and other medical conditions.
This role involves close collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and interpret telemetry data, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Provide compassionate and comprehensive patient care, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.

Requirements:

Current and valid RN license in the state of Florida.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
Previous experience in Telemetry or a related department is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical judgments.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN).
Proven experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in Telemetry or a related field.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
