Job Description:

• Maintain safe driving practices when using company vehicle
• Each shift, you will drive to patients’ homes, care facilities, or community events to provide vaccines
• While at events, you will engage in assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system
• Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our HealthPoint and Athena EMR system

Responsibilites:

• Act as a conduit for the vaccine program
• Navigate conversations related to management of health, well-being, and goals of care
• Participate in continuing education as required by the state where you reside and the DocGo training team
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
• Provide care with cultural sensitivity and compassion
• Lead your practice with a patient-centered approach
• Other related duties as deemed necessary

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of experience as a MA
• Minimum of two years driving experience with a clean driving record, with a valid license
• Active and current American Heart Association BLS Required / ACLS certification Preferred
• Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital – Critical Care, Family Practice or other relevant areas of experience preferred
• Current unrestricted license Michigan State MA or above certification (required)
• Clinical work experience with pediatrics (preferred, not required)
