Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients.
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and families on cancer treatments, side effects, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- State nursing license required/registration where applicable.
- 2+ years of oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
- BLS and Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred.
