Job Description:

As a Medical-Legal Mental Health Therapist will conduct a virtual visit to treat Personal Injury cases. This position will also establish therapeutic techniques and coping mechanisms to improve health and outcomes.

License Required:

  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)

Qualification:

  • 3 to 5+ years mental health experience (personal injury/workers’ comp experience bonus)
  • Unrestricted, good standing and current CA licensure
  • Education from an accredited psychology institution
  • 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Availability: part-time, independent contractor status
  • EMR proficient
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Telehealth experience (we offer virtual visits only)

Job Duties:

  • Conduct initial and follow up patient appointments
  • Record history of injury, symptoms and progress of patients in EMR

  • Show respect and sensitivity for diverse populations and cultural differences
  • Provide realistic and culture-sensitive treatment goals

Bonus points:

  • Medical legal or personal injury or workers’ comp experience
  • Multiple licensure in states other than CA
  • Spanish proficiency to conduct a session
  • Currently credentialed with insurance panels
