Job Duties:
- Driving to patient's homes and conducting home health visits independently
- Properly obtain and document medical histories
- Obtain consent, check patient history, and administer immunizations
- Complete documentation of assessment and/or interventions of patient
- Responsible for home health visits
- Minor troubleshooting of test systems and takes appropriate action according to predetermined protocols
- Identifies problems which may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and take appropriate action including supervisor notification
- Performs all relevant diagnostic tests as required
- Performs venipuncture as required
- Complete accepted medical forms
- Conduct weekly equipment check in exam rooms and report any equipment malfunctions
- Code Medical exams as needed
- Administer vaccines
- Administer medication to patients and measure vital signs
- Monitor the patient’s progress and changes in behavior
- Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols
- Recognizes situations which require the immediate attention of a physician or emergency care
- Interact with patients and their families in a compassionate manner
- Interact with clinicians, other health professionals and staff in a courteous and professional manner
Clinician Requirements:
- Comfortable with needlework; phlebotomy background beneficial.
- Understanding of EKG preferred, though training can be provided if needed.
- Spanish-speaking skills are preferred, but not required
- Both full-time and part-time positions are available (no per diem).
- Ability to lift 25-40 lbs.
- Ability to work independently - 5-8 house calls a day - 8-hour days.
- Must be able to drive Facility's cars (Licensed in the state they are working in for at least 2 years)
