Job Description:
DirectShifts is seeking Project Coordinator who plays an essential role in supporting provider network quality and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for coordinating on-site assessments of healthcare facilities, managing schedules, tracking project progress, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. As a liaison between internal teams and external provider sites, the Project Coordinator contributes to continuous improvement efforts that enhance compliance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Scheduling:
- Coordinate and schedule on-site evaluations of provider facilities
- Communicate with provider offices and internal teams to ensure seamless visit logistics
- Manage inspector schedules and ensure balanced workloads across regions
- Compliance & Documentation Support:
- Assist with verifying credentials of providers and facilities during site visits
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to compliance protocols
Reporting & Follow-Up:
- Track and document site visit outcomes and findings
- Monitor follow-up actions and maintain systems for tracking completion and performance metrics
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between provider facilities and internal credentialing/quality teams
- Support timely resolution of compliance issues through effective communication
- Quality Improvement Support:
- Participate in team meetings and share insights to improve credentialing and coordination processes
- Maintain and update evaluation tools and templates to ensure regulatory compliance
Field Support & Travel:
- Travel to provider sites for scheduled visits, assessments, and data collection
- Represent the organization professionally during all external interactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with experience in managing schedules and multi-step processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., NCQA, CMS, HIPAA).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to travel independently to provider sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, physician practice, or clinical operations environment.
