The Head of Sales will provide strategic leadership and be responsible for driving sales, revenue generation and market expansion within Duplo’s target mid market and enterprise business segments.This position entails developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and establishing strong relationships with key enterprise clients.
The Head of Sales will work closely with Duplo’s Management Team to set ambitious sales targets and play a pivotal role in achieving the company's overall business objectives in the Duplo for Finance Teams business line.
Duplo for Finance enables businesses to collect payments digitally using virtual accounts, create bills and set up their approval workflows to simplify business payments locally and internationally; and integrate to major accounting softwares for easy reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a portfolio strategy to increase revenue and market share as efficiently as possible.
- Grow and lead the Duplo for Finance sales teams to recommend, develop, and implement new and creative approaches to grow the business line.
- Identify friction points for sales teams in prospecting, pitching, onboarding and growing new business. Set standards for the client experience and work with different teams to ensure they are met.
- Collaborate with finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals;
- Define goals and strategies to drive recurring revenue from new and expansion customers in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.
- Collaborate with marketing for demand generation, inbound and outbound, and other marketing programs to drive high conversion rates and efficient customer acquisition.
- Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities
- Develop and analyze sales reports, performance metrics, and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continually improve sales processes.
- Oversee sales effectiveness and enablement operations including territory planning, incentives programming, development and delivery of customer engagement and sales enablement tools, and meeting planning;
- Recommend product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share;
- Lead and participate in high-level sales presentations and negotiations with enterprise clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert when talking to prospects and partners.
- Identify each client’s unique needs and cultivate effective sales strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the enterprise B2B payments sector. Utilize market insights to refine the sales strategy and identify potential business partnerships.
Requirements:
- At least 8 - 10 years experience in B2B sales, fintech, corporate banking is required
- 5+ Years of experience structuring, pricing, and negotiating large-scale partnerships
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding established goals for the business and for partners
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment, anticipate future needs and drive results.
- Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done.
- Exceptional communicator (written and oral) with strong interpersonal skills
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and figure it out
- Be emotionally intelligent, humble, and excited to work within a team with a diverse set of experiences, backgrounds, and skills
