Emi, our main product, is an A.I. recruitment assistant that enables companies to engage in a conversation with each applicant to detect interested and qualified individuals while saving Recruiters a huge amount of time by automating tasks such as screening, validating skills, scheduling interviews, and collecting documents.
We were part of Y-Combinator's Winter 2019 batch and in 2022 we have raised an $11M funding round co-led by Merus Capital and Khosla Ventures.
About the Product Team
The Product Team at Emi helps translate a company strategy into a product strategy and then execute that strategy over time. We plan quarterly roadmaps of new product development, lead the development of those new features, and also ensure our existing Product is delivering the expected product outcomes. Talking to users and analyzing data are some of our most important tools. Product development at Emi is an extremely collaborative effort between Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and customer-facing teams.
What you'll be doing
As a Product Specialist, you will contribute to maximize the product adoption of our end users and their satisfaction with our Platform, and also help us define and implement our Product’s customization strategy.
You will become an expert in Emi’s functionalities and its product configuration, to regularly act as a point of reference for our company’s non-technical teams and help us make product configuration decisions for our clients. You will also help us ensure we have an amazing product documentation for our non-technical teams.
Finally, you will help us execute our company’s Internal Product strategy in order to scale our operation and give the necessary tools to teams to be able to do their jobs.
Tasks / Activities
- Work on our product adoption strategy. Generate and follow reports on end-user adoption bringing quantitative and qualitative insights. Help us better understand our users by participating on user on-site discoveries and research.
- Participate in our end user's satisfaction measurement strategy. Execute measurements through different tools (in-app or surveys). Generate and follow reports around user satisfaction bringing insights that help us build a better product.
- Work closely with Client Facing on our product customization strategy, helping them address client's concerns and requests.
- Help us execute our documentation strategy for non-technical Emi teams. You will be a point of reference for technical doubts from these teams and also give them the right tools for having the necessary knowledge about our product.
- Work close by with Emi’s Support Team in order to detect user problems with our product or possible malfunctions that need to be addressed by Product Managers.
- Keep updated with new functionalities, their release, and Customers’ expectations for them.
- Help prioritize each week our Tech Teams’ priorities together with Product Managers and Implementation teams.
- Help build our quarterly Product Roadmap by bringing insights from our product’s usage measurement and the internal team’s insights during the quarter.
- Help build our Release plan for new functionalities together with the Marketing Team.
- Help our Sales and Account Management Teams understand the best solution to be offered to a prospect or existing client, and give them tools to explain them.
