Job Description

• Team Management: Lead, coach and mentor the team of Freight Data Validators, assigning tasks, setting targets, and ensuring the team delivers on its responsibilities effectively.
• Workflow Oversight: Oversee various workflows such as BL Data Entry & Generation, Import/Export Customs Declarations, Shipment Manifest Data Entry, Billing Data Entry/Preparations, Invoice Data Entry/Preparations, Arrival Notice Preparation, and Shipment Tracking Data Entry.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy of information processed by your team, taking responsibility for validating data uploaded into the correct systems without errors.
• Service Level Agreement (SLA) Fulfillment: Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and your team to deliver on the agreed SLA with our customers.
• Process Improvement: Continually assess and improve data validation processes and strategies. Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory role, preferably within the logistics, freight forwarding, or brokerage industry
• Solid understanding and experience with freight documentation and related workflows
• Exceptional attention to detail with proven data entry and validation skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Comfortable with technology and software, including Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Remote Work Technical Requirements

Must be able to provide and support their own computer hardware, software, and internet. The minimum technical requirements for remote work at Expedock are the following:
