Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive training programs for Freight Data Validators (FDVs), focusing on industry-specific tools and best practices, including Transport Management Systems like Cargowise.
  • Implement a variety of effective training methodologies tailored to the FDVs' needs, such as e-learning, role-playing, coaching, and on-the-job training.
  • Participate in client meetings or trainings to gain a deep understanding of the services we need to provide, and incorporate these learnings into the FDV training program.
  • Organize and lead new hire orientation and training, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Conduct refresher training sessions to ensure FDVs maintain a high level of proficiency and knowledge in their roles.
  • Ensure that product updates and enhancements are incorporated swiftly into the training program, enabling FDVs to adapt to changes effectively and promptly, enhancing their productivity and efficiency.
  • Oversee the creation, updating, and maintenance of FDV training materials, ensuring they are consistently up-to-date with product updates and enhancements.
  • Create and manage a training calendar that schedules and tracks all training activities for FDVs.
  • Assess the effectiveness of all training activities and continuously refine and update the curriculum based on these evaluations.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, supervisors, and managers to keep abreast of changes impacting FDVs' roles, incorporating this information into training programs.
  • Identify knowledge gaps among the FDV team through regular consultation with managers and team leads, and design training programs to address these areas.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices in the logistics and freight industry.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Training Lead or similar role in the logistics and freight industry, with a track record of designing and executing successful training programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of Transport Management Systems, particularly Cargowise, and the ability to teach others to use these systems effectively.
  • Proficiency in various training methodologies, including traditional classroom settings, e-learning, simulations, and hands-on training.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong report writing and record-keeping ability, with an emphasis on tracking trainees' progress and the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to a diverse range of audiences.
  • A degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the logistics and freight industry, particularly BPO operations, is a strong advantage.
