Job Description
Prospect and Build Pipeline
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospective leads
- Responsible for initiating sales calls to prospective leads or clients
- Generate new leads through cold calls and emails
Qualify and Educate Prospects
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs and identify how client's solutions can add value to their freight forwarding operations.
- Qualify prospects based on their fit and readiness to integrate with client's platform, ensuring a strong sales pipeline.
Collaboration with Sales and Account Teams
- Work closely with the sales and account management teams to set up meetings and product demos for qualified leads.
- Provide detailed insights and context on prospects to the sales team, ensuring seamless transitions.
Persistent Follow-Up and Nurturing
- Relentlessly follow up with leads, providing them with valuable information and resources to nurture their interest.
- Keep in touch with qualified but undecided prospects, maintaining relationships until they are ready for a demo or next step.
Pipeline Tracking and CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, notes, and progress in the CRM system, tracking lead status and engagement.

- Regularly report on key metrics, including pipeline growth, number of qualified leads, and conversion rates.
Meet and Exceed Targets
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, outreach, and qualified meetings.
- Continuously refine your outreach strategy to improve conversion rates and exceed goals.
Industry Knowledge & Experience:
- Understanding of the sales process in B2B SaaS environments Logistics, Freight Forwarding Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-4+ years SDR or sales and marketing experience in Logistics industry
- Knowledge in sea and air freight forwarding, customs procedures and tariffs, warehousing, trucking, and supply chain is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills (English both written and verbal)
- Can work independently and under pressure
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas clearly and concisely in English, both in speaking and writing (C1)
- Client management experience is a plus
Remote Work Technical Requirements
Must be able to provide and support their own computer hardware, software, and internet. The minimum technical requirements for remote work at Expedock are the following:
