Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and take over the management of our data engineering architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing and maintaining large-scale data processing systems. They should be well-versed in data modelling, ETL pipelines, and warehousing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of our data engineering architecture.
• Manage and optimize ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data processing.
• Design, implement and maintain data models for our data warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions.
• Work with DevOps to deploy and maintain data infrastructure in production.
• Ensure that all data solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior data engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Extensive experience in designing and building ETL pipelines.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python is must, with experience of at least one additional programming language (R, Java, Scala, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience working with cloud-based data processing platforms (AWS).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
