Introduction to the role

We are seeking a dedicated Information Security Policy Expert to join our dynamic team in Indonesia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing robust information security policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding our platform, protecting user data, and ensuring compliance with global cybersecurity standards.

What you’ll do

• Develop, review, and update information security policies, standards, and procedures to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies align with business objectives and regulatory requirements specific to blockchain.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to evaluate policy effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements and industry standards related to information security to internal stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to teams across the organization on implementing and adhering to security policies.
• Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively address potential security risks.
• Assist in responding to security incidents by providing policy-related guidance and contributing to incident response plans.

Who will excel?

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in information security policy development and implementation, preferably within the financial or cryptocurrency industry.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and specific regulations affecting cryptocurrency platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of security and compliance.
• Experience as a DPO (Data Protection Officer) is a significant bonus.
