Flex is a fully remote company and this role can be performed from anywhere.

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned and energetic Finance leader to own Flexbase’ financial planning &

analysis (FP&A), debt capital markets, corporate development, and board & investor reporting. The

Finance team is integrated with teams across the organization and work closely with them to

evaluate key questions, solve problems, and optimize for Flexbase's long-term shareholder value.

As part of the FP&A function, you will deeply understand our performance by building

comprehensive analytical models and forecasts, achieving critical insights to drive intelligent

strategic and capital allocation decisions across the business.

As part of the Capital Markets function, you will have the unique opportunity to directly impact

Flexbase’ growth trajectory by helping to negotiate, execute, and monitor debt facilities and other

financial mechanisms. To manage Flexbase’ liquidity needs, you will work closely with external

lenders and investors to execute the company’s funding strategy via credit facilities, securitizations,

loan sales and other secured and unsecured debt solutions.

You'll also have the opportunity to make enhancements to our data reporting and systems in a

cross-functional role (with internal leadership, partners, the board, and our investor community) and

generate lasting impact on the company. The ideal fit for this role is to operate with speed and

agility, while simultaneously developing and implementing Fortune 500-level finance infrastructure

inside our startup. This is a key role where you will be uniquely positioned to influence the full picture

of Flexbase’ growth efforts across all functions.

What You’ll Do✅

➔Collaborate with business leaders across the organization to prioritize critical focus areas,

establish clear business objectives, and foster accountability

➔Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to deliver operational and

financial insights on past performance and future expectations

➔Identify and manage relationships with banking partners, lenders, investors and other capital

markets participants – including attending relevant investor conference events

➔Work on the execution of securitization transactions, warehouses and other lending contracts

➔Manage lender reporting and ensure accuracy and fidelity of payment tapes

➔Prepare investor presentations and other materials for deal roadshows, rating agency

requests, and diligence meetings

➔Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale the company’s

reporting and forecasting abilities

➔Build a world-class Finance function that positions the company for the next stage of growth

What You Bring⚡️

➔6+ years of capital markets or structured finance investment banking (or a related field), and

experience in FP&A with financial modeling, core accounting, and planning software

➔The hunger and desire to build again. No matter how senior, you’re eager to get your hands

dirty, tackle a new challenge, and make an impact in Flexbase’ huge underserved industry

➔Familiarity with financial modeling and ability to work and analyze large data sets

➔Off-the-charts attention to detail and comfort using analysis to create impactful strategic

recommendations that change company direction

➔Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills

➔Highly adaptable with a comprehension of the lifecycles of a startup

➔Outstanding verbal and written communication skills coupled with interpersonal abilities

➔Team player obsessed with getting better every day and encouraging the same dedication

from colleagues across the organization, all the while fostering an enjoyable atmosphere

➔Nice to haves: Capital markets experience at a fintech company. Experience in

constructing and maintaining hedging strategies
