Flex is building a finance super app for business owners — reimagining every single aspect of the financial workflow and financial services for any entrepreneur. The company has grown revenue 25x+ since publicly launching in September 2023 and is on track to achieve profitability by early 2025. Flex is focused on mid-market businesses ($3 - $100M revenue) that are largely overlooked by existing fintech solutions and reliant on slow and outdated regional banks. We are targeting a ~$1T revenue opportunity that is largely up for grabs.Flex is a fully remote company and this role can be performed from anywhere.
🕺 About the Role As our Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of Flex’s outbound communication strategy to nurture, retain, and convert leads into loyal customers. This role also focuses on plugging funnel leaks by creating targeted email and SMS campaigns, ensuring every potential and current customer receives timely, personalized, and impactful messaging. You’ll leverage your expertise in lifecycle marketing to increase engagement, improve conversion rates, and drive measurable business outcomes.We’re looking for someone who thrives on problem-solving, has a passion for customer engagement, and wants to own a key part of the customer journey at Flex.
✅ What You’ll Do
- Build and Execute Email and SMS Campaigns
- Develop, implement, and optimize email and SMS strategies to address specific stages of the customer journey - from acquisition to reducing funnel leakage.
- Craft compelling and relevant content that resonates with our target audience, driving engagement and conversion.
- Lifecycle Strategy Development
- Analyze customer behaviors and funnel metrics to identify leakage points and develop tailored communication plans to re-engage users
- Segment customers effectively to ensure the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
- Automation and Workflow Management
- Set up and manage on Salesforce automated workflows for onboarding, engagement, retention, and win-back campaigns.
- Optimize triggers and timing to enhance customer experiences and maximize results
- Data-Driven Optimization:Measure and analyze campaign performance, using data to inform and improve strategy.
- Report on key lifecycle KPIs such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and churn metrics.
- Experimentation and Iteration
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, send times, and other variables.
- Establish a test-and-learn approach to continuously improve messaging and strategy.
⚡️ What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in lifecycle or email marketing, with a proven track record of reducing funnel leakage through targeted campaigns.
- Expertise in email and SMS marketing platforms and automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and design.
- Deep understanding of customer journeys and segmentation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Nice to Have: Experience in fintech or B2B SaaS marketing.
